The International Currency Exchange (ICE) ran a London 2012 Olympics currency promotion but discovered it wasn’t ranking for related terms, such as ‘currency deals’. What’s more, it didn’t have significant digital content to support the promotion. We needed to remedy this.
Aware that we had to target terms including ‘currency promotions’ and ‘currency deals’ to establish search engine ranking, we devised and created authoritative content for the ICE website. This done, we then syndicated it across our network of publishers and national news titles meaning ICE ranked within the top 10 for the chosen terms in less than a fortnight.
ICE exceeded its conversion target by 75 per cent, established rankings for key promotional terms for future campaigns and gained invaluable exposure through national publisher sites.
