Objective

Football FanCast was using an old website design that wasn’t properly optimised for search, which meant it wasn’t ranking in Google for important club stories and football news. Our job was to update its site design and usability, remedying these issues.

What we did

Quad Digital provided technical consultancy to support the new site design. This included developing a consistent URL structure and site hierarchy to better optimise club pages, and creating hub pages around competitions. We devised an editorial structure based on Football FanCast’s business objectives and combined this with a content creation and distribution programme.

Outcome

Football FanCast launched a new, fully optimised site, which generated a 100 per cent increase in user experience satisfaction. Organic ranking was established for specific football terms, achieving in excess of one million monthly visits, and organic traffic has doubled in the last year.
