Early on in the campaign we identified the unplugged holiday – a break away from the always-on digital world – as a key trend among travellers with a busy working life.
Addressing this, we created an infographic that contrasted the stresses of being constantly engaged with the benefits of unplugging on a relaxing holiday.
Within it, we integrated tips and recommendations from travel influencers to accelerate social sharing. We then promoted the graphic to Quad Digital’s extensive network of publishers, journalists and bloggers.
The infographic was published on a number of high profile sites and promoted widely through social. Publisher interest in the piece was such that we were able to significantly over-deliver on the agreed number of placements.
